Israeli security forces have forcibly evicted Jewish settlers from a disputed house in the West Bank city of Hebron.
Police said two officers and five civilians were injured in the operation. Angry Jewish settlers responded by setting fire to Palestinian cars and property near the building. Eight Palestinians were hurt, including three from gunshot wounds. The eviction followed an Israeli High Court ruling in November to leave the house. The settlers claim to have bought it from a Palestinian who denies selling it.
